Chilled Peels Lemonade was started in 2020! Believe it or not inside a Lemonade stand. Formed as a coping mechanism for Owner Luci Butts- Elason children as they grieved the loss of  her father , The Late Pastor Robert Butts Jr, Pastor of East Side Unity COGIC! Loosing Pastor Butts To COVID was hard but Luci’s Husband Major Elason quickly responded by building a lemonade stand that would change the future of this family! The business took off quickly with local supporters , Family and Friends, and in short time the name was chosen Chilled Peels standing for Cold Lemonade. After a summer of sales Luci decided that Chilled Peels could be more than a Lemonade stand and she began to work on a location to bottle, and started the process for state licensing. Chilled Peels is now licensed through the state of Michigan and can be found at many locations near you including its home at Holy Moly Donut Shop 17101 E Warren Ave in Detroit, Michigan.  Chilled Peels and its owner has been featured at Hot 107.5 with The Biggest Popup Shop in Detroit and selected as an Honoree for The Hustle Award, through The Detroit Historic Museum. Be on the look out for this refreshing beverage to be sold at a Meijer Rivertown location near Downtown Detroit.
